Torsdal er blant de eldste bostedene i området. Det ble funnet noen små groper i fjellet her i 1983, som de trodde var helleristninger. Det viste seg at det var av nyere dato.  Torsdal is among the oldest settlements in the area. Some small pits were found in the mountain here in 1983, which they thought were rock carvings.
